In Norse mythology, Ratatoskr is a horned squirrel who runs up and down Yggdrasil to carry messages between the unnamed eagle at the top of the tree and the dragon Nidhogg beneath its roots. He was cursed by Hel to guard the Norn Skuld.

In Norse mythology, Nidhogg is the dragon who eats the roots of the world tree, Yggdrasil. He was cursed by Hel to guard the Norn Urd.

These little rascals are responsible for spreading mayhem across Midgard. Most of the time, they attack in groups and try to flank their target.

Bladed Spiders are a common pest found all over Midgard. They throw webs to immobilize their foes and attack them while they are pinned to the ground. Their legs and body are covered with sharp bones that make them very hard to hit.

Trolls are slow creatures with inhuman strength and the ability to regenerate. They are particularly vulnerable to attacks from behind.

Raptor Birds are in fact large eagles. They attack quickly by diving on their opponent and moving out of the way immediately afterward.

Giants, also known as Jotuns in Norse mythology, are a race of nature spirits with superhuman strength and size.
